(1)
Cost : Imported cars
from Japan are available at
much reduced price, compared
to UK prices for the same
car. This is due to the expensive
and strict vehicle licensing
laws in Japan, plus many incentives
for Japanese car owners to
buy new cars and trade in
their old vehicles. This is
good news for us in the UK.
(2)
Condition : Japanese
cars are generally in better
condition than a vehicle of
the same age in another country.
This is mainly due to low
average mileage by Japanese
motorists, and strict vehicle
testing laws in Japan.
(3)
Specifications : Cars
in Japan usually come fitted
with features as standard,
that we in the UK would consider
luxury (i.e.. Air Conditioning,
Electronic Controllers etc.).
In some cases inmodified cars
from Japan will have higher
performance figures than the
UK version of the same car.
